The Cliff Dwellings of Manitou Springs Colorado

I heard from a friend in Branson Mo. that the Cliff Dwellings were not to be missed. She was correct. I drove to the town of Manitou Springs Colorado, about 37 miles from Cripple Creek to experience a unique past life style of the Anasazi Indians also know as The Ancient Ones or the Ancestral Puebloans. The people of this advanced culture existed in the Four Corners area from 1100 A.D to 1300 A.D. This preserve was first open to the public in 1907. For me it was a travel back in time. And speaking of travel, the mountains and landscape on the way was breathtaking. Enjoy more of Colorado with me. TC…
How about waking up to that view?

P.S.
I would like to thank those who are following my adventures and have been kind enough to comment with their good wishes.
All of your generous thoughts have not gone unnoticed. It was my thinking not to respond to each but to just enjoy them, and now let each of you know that your comments are indeed appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks. TC…
