Aside from a one night stay at beautiful Victoria Springs State Park, and sharing a fire with fellow campers Ron and Pauline, my brief stay in and through Nebraska was uneventful and not too terribly exiting; corn, sand hills, and more corn, much more corn were the sights to see.
If it were not for a house being moved along the way, I would have to say the long ride across the state was boring. At least the road I was on.
I was headed to the town of Winterset, Iowa in the county of Madison to see, what else, the bridges, and to see the birth place of the Duke and the small museum in his honor. Now if you don’t know who the Duke was, well pilgrim, shame on you.
